The kids weren't in the wrong for rear ending that car. That car should have yielded to them. They are classified as pedestrians, meaning they actually have more rights on the roadway than passenger vehicles.

At least they’re outside. I haven’t seen a kid playing outside since before Covid.

sensible if we built walking/bike paths, especially in new developments. They are required to build roads, why not paths for bikes and pedestrians? A PROPERLY built path lasts much longer than a road, relives traffic, allows for alternative transport and safer for kids. They put in a bike "path" near me next to train tracks when they got replaced. Flattened dirt, thin layer of asphalt and put trees on one side and flowering bushes on other. So tree roots destroy path, bushes provide pollen and bees to ride through. So of course argument is only few use path, why make more. Mine argument is even though path is a disaster people still are using it, showing the need.

I see so many cutting the leader and taping it back onto a different spool so I like the trick you show of pushing out the plastic clip holding it in place. However, there’s a hole at the bottom that you can simply push out more easily using a bent paperclip rather than prying it with a flathead

I work in Bridgeton, about 2 miles from Seabrook. I’ve driven through Seabrook on Rt 77 probably a thousand times (I’ve been working in Bridgeton for 20 years now). I remember the first times driving on 77 of the barracks right near the road. I’d assume they weren’t much more than 500 sq feet and a few rooms. And their heights couldn’t be any higher than 7-8 feet. You could tell they were several decades old. The town is very small and located basically on 77 almost secluded. There is also a little neighborhood with about 30-40 homes about 800 sq feet that I’m assuming is the Italian village they mentioned. It’s a very fascinating area.

I actually cut the strips extra long so that it acts as 4 trimmer lines, but still break too often. On the way out of the store, a man in the parking lot said you are going to like changing the string on that weed eater. I thought he was saying it was a good thing. Now I see he was being sarcastic.

I was baffled and confused by the clear parts of the film strip. But it’s the part where it disengages after rewinding, right?

I have half a dozen tapes to make this fix on, but not a single one of them has that handy access hole over the clip.
